Youth Empowerment and mindset change organization (YEMCO)
Non-government organization founded on 8 July 2015 and register on 23/6/2016 with registration number 00NGO/08670 of non-government organization Act No. 24 2002.
The organization focus on the empowerment and mindset change to youth, women and disabled, in order to enable themselves in various development programs and opportunities. In order to achieve the main objectives, the organization provides education and awareness through conducting numerous trainings and motivational talk to youth, women and disabled. YEMCO collaborates with various community development programs essentially in touching the live of youth, women and disabled.
Since its founding YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND MINDSET CHANGE ORGANIZATION (YEMCO) has been actively operating in Dar es salaam Region, Dodoma Region,Tanga Region, Kigoma Region, Mtwara Region, Coastal Regions, Morogoro Region, Mbeya Region, having started with youth group to the program called KIJANA JITAMBUE UJIAJIRI.
The Organization has been instrumental in providing skills, tools and resources to youth, women,people with disabilities and vicoba groups in anticipation of improved entrepreneurship abilities and thereafter a better livelihood for their households and community in general.
YEMCO has different sectors in operations of its activities and groups, we have youth sector, Women sector, bodaboda sector, artists sector, widows’ sector, disabled sector, religions sector, these all sectors contain groups with the people with the same challenges.
The ultimate goal is to see that youth, women and disabled people all over the Tanzania are living standards life and live poverty free. But also participate in economic development activities
Programmatic areas of our organization are capacity building, entrepreneurship skills, trainings and vicoba groups formation.
